Overview
This page explains how you can request deletion of your UniCan account and associated personal information, subject to legal and operational requirements.
Review billing (for example Stripe) and in-app flows alongside these steps as needed.
Before you delete
- Subscriptions: If you have an active paid plan, cancel or manage billing through the same channel you used to subscribe (for example, the billing portal linked from your account or pricing page) so you are not charged after deletion where applicable.
- Exports: If the product offers export of your data, download anything you need before requesting deletion.
- Third parties: Deleting your UniCan account may not delete data held entirely by third-party integrations you connected; you may need to disconnect or delete data there separately.
How to request deletion
- Sign in to the account you want removed.
- Email support at support@synthetichumanlabs.com.
- State clearly that you want your account and personal data deleted, and include the email address associated with the account.
If in-app self-service deletion is added later, this page should be updated to describe that flow first.
What we delete
Subject to applicable law and legitimate business needs, we will delete or anonymize personal information associated with your account. Some information may be retained where required, for example:
- Legal and security: Records needed to comply with law, resolve disputes, or detect abuse.
- Backups: Residual copies in backups may persist for a limited period until those backups rotate.
- Aggregated data: Data that does not identify you may be retained in aggregated form.
Timing
We will process verified requests within a reasonable timeframe and notify you if we need additional information to confirm your identity.
